Metsä Tissue, part of Metsä Group, is one of Europe’s leading suppliers of tissue paper products including the Katrin brand. The Katrin product range includes toilet rolls, paper towels, hand care products, industrial wipes and dispensing solutions. Caring for the environment is an integral part of Metsä Tissue’s corporate responsibility and one of the guiding principles of our business strategy. We seek to minimise the environmental impact of our products throughout their life cycle, from sourcing of raw materials to production and consumption right through to their disposal. Responsibility is not rocket science. It means to give back at least as much as you take. For Katrin, true responsibility means balance: not only considering our actions economically, environmentally and socially, but also building sustainable choices together with all stakeholders. We aim for a good balance – and help our customers to find their own balance. Katrin – At Hand. Creating a perfect sustainable balance.

RECOFLOOR Recofloor, Tudor House, Meadway, Bramhall SK7 2DG T: 0161 355 7618 E: info@recofloor.org W: www.recofloor.org

Recofloor is the UK’s national vinyl flooring recycling scheme, which has recycled well over 2,300 tonnes of waste vinyl flooring since its 2009 inception by leading flooring manufacturers Polyflor and Altro. The scheme’s flexibility enables all supply chain sectors to engage in recycling. This helps facilities managers, local authorities, distributors and contractors to divert growing volumes of waste vinyl flooring from landfill - reducing disposal costs and helping firms to meet

their sustainability goals. Waste vinyl material is collected from flooring

contractors, construction sites, schools, hospitals and other large sites. Clean post-installation vinyl and smooth uplifted vinyl is accepted as long as it meets specifications. Smooth and safety off-cuts are recycled back into new flooring with smooth uplifted flooring recycled into other products, such as road traffic cones. Recofloor has 650- plus collectors and 63 drop-off sites across the UK and Ireland.
