MERRIOTT ENHANCES DELIVERY OFFERING

Commercial heating specialist Merriott has implemented a series of improvements to its transport and logistics offering, in a bid to enhance service levels for customers of its radiators and radiant panels.


Amongst the improvements is the introduction of a new one-box packaging solution. This means all the components for each custom- made Merriott system will be boxed together, saving valuable time on site and ensuring no parts are lost in transit. Merriott is also using additional packaging on every order to substantially reduce the risk of product damage – both during transit and on-site. Finally, the company is now using dedicated hauliers, so customers can rest assured that their orders will arrive directly to site from Merriott’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Newport, Wales, with no unnecessary handling in between.

This is not just true for all our products, but it’s also true for our logistics offering, which is why we’ve introduced these new improvements. Heating and cooling solutions form an integral part of a project’s supply chain, and there is often only a small timeframe for products to arrive ahead of installation, with limited storage facilities on-site.
