CONFERENCE
Signing his fi rst public speaking commitment since winning the RIBA Stirling Prize this year, architect Steve Tompkins of Haworth Tompkins will join the Independent’s architecture critic Jay Merrick, in conversation as part of Ecobuild’s esteemed conference programme.
Ecobuild will also play host to sessions with Sir John Armitt, former Chairman of the Olympic Delivery Authority, and Lord Deben, Chairman of the Committee on Climate Change; and Green Party leader Natalie Bennett as part of the programme.
For housebuilders and contractors, esteemed construction magnate James Wates, Chairman of £1bn contractor Wates and chair of the CITB will discuss – ‘are we up to the job of delivering sustainable buildings that work?’
CPD AT ECOBUILD
For the fi rst time, visitors to Ecobuild can access formal CPD opportunities by attending any offi cial Ecobuild seminar session at the 2015 event.
Organiser UBM has worked with the Construction CPD Certifi cation Service to ensure that each of the 80+ seminar sessions are now compatible and applicable with global Continuing Professional Development principles.

CONCRETE AND MASONRY PAVILION
Working closely with The Concrete Centre and British Precast, Ecobuild will host its fi rst ever dedicated Concrete and Masonry Pavilion.
Located in the North Hall, this new Pavilion will provide visitors with access to product and design experts. Supported by manufacturers, solution providers and industry bodies, the pavilion includes a low energy housing feature, a seminar theatre as well as the products and solutions to enable designers to utilise the sustainable credentials of concrete in the built environment.
EXPORTING OPPORTUNITIES FOR MANUFACTURERS AND CONSTRUCTION SMES
Government partner UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) will lead sessions and advice clinics on the routes to overseas markets for UK product manufacturers and construction SMEs keen to explore the global economy.
With an objective to attract inward investment and drive export growth for the UK green construction sector at the 2015 event, UKTI will bring representatives from their

international offi ces to Ecobuild in March to help UK companies who want to expand/export globally.
Sessions at Ecobuild will run across all three days for both fi rst time exporters and companies wanting to increase the markets they export to. There is also the opportunity to have one-to-one meetings with representatives from UKTI’s international offi ces in Belgium, Brazil, Canada, France, India, Italy, Philippines, Russia, South Africa and United Arab Emirates with more markets to be added.
