FACILITIES MANAGEMENT PREVIEW

FACILITIES MANAGEMENT 2015 BOASTS INNOVATION

Those in the facilities industry should mark 24-26 March in their diaries, as that’s when Facilities Management 2015 returns to the NEC.

Visitors to the event will find a showfloor which has expanded; Facilities Management 2015 will be co-located with three other complementary shows including a brand new show – Cleaning 2015, which will focus specifically on the buyers and suppliers from within the cleaning sector, giving them a dedicated show for their needs.

Its second co-location is Maintec – the leading UK event for the maintenance, plant and asset management industry – a neat fit as many FM visitors also have a wider maintenance remit. The Health & Safety Event, which is run by, Western Business Exhibitions will also return for its second year rounding off the clever co-locations.

These compatible events highlight the dedication Facilities Management has to both its visitors and exhibitors, providing an educational and highly attended industry leading event.

Katie Crocombe, Facilities Management Event Manager, comments: “The feedback about last year was fantastic. It reiterated that there was a largely untapped facilities management community outside London. In such a fast moving sector it is crucial that the information we provide is top drawer, which is why we are expanding the exhibition floor, continuing the successful co-locations with relevant industry shows and providing a high quality seminar programme. Those within the industry shouldn’t let this show pass them by; they should jump on board!”

EXHIBITION HALL Major exhibitors from across Europe

have been quick to sign up for the 2015 show, including big names such

as McQuay Services, Lutterworth Ecolighting, Current Force IFM, Scot Young Research and Squiggle Glass, who have all confirmed that they will be showcasing their latest products and services.

The Local Government Association (LGA) estimates the annual cost of removing chewing gum from UK pavements has reached £56 million, with around six tons dropped in the West End of London alone each year. If this is a problem for you, then look no further than the Ecogum stand, who will be showcasing its Ecogum PRX1, which is a highly portable durable machine that removes chewing gum from any facility. It features a lightweight backpack with an Ecogum removal solution and pump that produces 3 millilitres of the solution every second.

Manhattan Atrium, the UK’s leading supplier of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions, will be using Facilities Management to display its latest web-based software suite. It enables organisations to optimise their property estate, enhance business performance, manage risk, add value and reduce costs.

Enterprise mobility solutions provider, MobileWorxs will be showcasing a number of pre-built applications and solutions that allow organisations to bridge the gap between the office and the field. They will show how it is possible to eliminate paper based processes and provide mobile workers with all they require to efficiently carry out their tasks.

Access Control Technology, which designs and manufactures electronic access control and door entry products, will use the show to introduce ACTviquest, which is

an integrated access control and video management solution - all- in-one compact box. It is capable of recording up to 8 channels and managing up to 100 doors with ACTenterprise Lite, and will suit most small-to-medium sized applications allowing approximately 12 days recording.

Williamson-Dickie will also be using the event to exhibit some of its core health and safety and personal protective equipment (PPE) ranges. The products on display will include Showa gloves, gel knee pads, goggles, safety helmets, bump caps, ear defenders, respirators and its safety footwear range.

CPA Engineered Solutions Ltd’s Enershield Air Barrier cleverly creates a ‘virtual door’ by recirculating ambient air and forcing it across an opening to create up to a 90% seal. The seal separates the atmospheres on either side and stops the transfer of temperature, humidity, dust, odours and insects.
