For 28 years Loo of the Year Awards (LOYA) has been the UK standard for ‘away from home’ toilets throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Dublin’s North Inner City received a special mention for being 30% cleaner than earlier in the year. But Farranree, on the north of Cork city was branded a litter black spot in the survey – although it was the only area to do so.

The Anti-Litter League survey of 40 towns and cities across the country showed that more than 40% were cleaner than the European average, with only six areas falling short of the required ‘clean’ status, including Drogheda, Maynooth and Tallaght.

Awards and trophies will be presented at the prestigious Awards Event on Friday 4th December at the St Johns Hotel in Solihull with superb hospitality opportunities. Many entrants use attendance at the Awards Event to provide excellent hospitality and entertainment to their staff, customers and prospects. It is also a great opportunity for networking, and to see the latest washroom products and services in the Events exhibition area.
