WASHROOM HYGIENE ‘Trial them


in our office!’


This gesture is testament


to the fantastic relationship we have with our


customers – we were getting to trial


and test our brand new range in one of Belfast’s biggest offices, this was an


opportunity we were definitely not


Next up was air freshners. Our research showed that visitors to any public or commercial washroom immediately identify a fresh, pleasant fragrance with cleanliness. This is vital for any business, especially those offices with important visitors arriving daily.


Our ‘Pristine AirFresh’ system has 16 different fragrances including seasonal options, and they are fully programmable to eject a spray at customised intervals.


Like the launch of any new product range the goods had to be tested and trailed – the same client who wanted to review their cost were keen to be involved so they said


going to turn down. So we installed dispensers, hand soaps, hand cream and sanitisers in their washrooms and kitchen areas.


Our considerable and expansive research paid dividends as everything was a roaring success. After this successful initial launch I set about approaching our other contract customers to let them know about our new venture, this involved face to face meetings to show them samples any maybe more importantly price comparisons.


The feedback from our clients was completely overwhelming, a huge bonus for them was that they were able to order from a business they already deal with and trusted. They trust us with the maintenance and upkeep of their buildings so why not let us supply their toilet roll too!


Another huge bonus for our clients is that by using us, it allows them more time to concentrate on their own business and thus eliminate the need of ‘someone run to the shop quickly’ which ultimately costs businesses in terms of both time and money.


It also became apparent how many employers were uneducated and unaware of their responsibilities under the ‘Duty of Care’ Act, and that they could be breaking the law by not providing a sanitary waste disposal system. Again we linked up with another

local company to supply all our offices who needed such systems implemented.


On a separate note from hygiene chemicals and solutions – as our business was primarily cleaning, we now also have our own range of cleaning chemicals for our team to use in their daily jobs. We now have our clients’ cleaning storerooms stocked up with ‘Pristine’ cleaning solutions. On the back of this, we have also started to supply bars, cafes and restaurants with cleaning solutions.


Overall we are absolutely delighted with how our ‘Hygiene Solutions’ division was formed and launched. We believe we have a range of exceptional products at superb prices. Some clients really can’t believe how much money they are now saving which they can use in other areas. It has certainly strengthen our relationships with our customers and also given our cleaning staff more responsibility – which in turn has helped them become even more proactive, adding great pride in their important roles in our clients’ premises. The new division has also helped us move into markets where we wouldn’t previously have been.


We feel that we’ve contributed to the local economy too as we had to take on a new premises as our Distribution unit, where all the consumables are stored and distributed from, and all our dispensers and solutions are bought and produced right here in Northern Ireland.


The new division has allowed us to put an extra van on the road to assist with deliveries and the extra workload, and we have also recruited three extra staff, taking our workforce now to 11. In the last quarter on 2014 we were awarded some very prestigious contracts and this is something we look to build on throughout 2015.
