Beautiful In Its Simplicity

A new invention for the cleaning industry is set to make waves as it provides an incredibly simple, universal solution to the dispensing of concentrated cleaning chemicals.

The Aperture Cap Closure from SANSERV is the only container cap that is completely irremovable, meaning that once it’s fastened, it cannot come off.

The innovative cap can be readily and securely adapted for the acceptance of universal tube dispensing devices, as the aperture closer in the cap allows a tube to be inserted to extract the liquid contents from within a container.

However, its design means that no spillage or free pouring can occur, drastically reducing the wastage of chemicals that can traditionally take place.

Mark Bradley, Managing Director of SANSERV and inventor of the Aperture Closure Cap, said that the beauty of the product lies in its simplicity. He said: “It’s a revolution in portion control, but it’s a simple solution.

“I think with the market we’re in, with research and development, there’s too much thinking that goes on. It’s like the ski slope scenario. We’re

putting our gloves on to go down a ski slope, and there’s a four-year- old beside us. We all say ‘let’s have a race’, and while we’re putting our goggles on, the four-year-old is at the bottom of the slope, they hadn’t thought of it.”

The Aperture Cap’s single component and colour coded design has various mechanisms that can be configured in a range of shapes and sizes to fit any container, and it’s pre-use seal ensures safety in transportation and

storage, eliminating the need for any additional caps or seals.

One of the key aspects of the Aperture cap, according to Mark, is that it prevents the traditional problem of free pouring, because it is irremovable. He added: “Every dispenser in the world has a tube coming from it, so what the cap is doing – because the dispensing equipment is provided – is forcing the users to use the dispensing equipment and not free pour the product.

“The whole point of the dilution system is to control your dilution, but the biggest problem in the industry is they’re installed and provided, but the users have their own habits and don’t bother using it, they just free pour it, which is a waste. So the cap is giving integrity to the dispensing equipment provided, because that is set at a dose level to give you the amount of concentrate that’s required.

“It seals the deal. It’s such a simple

thing but what it’s doing is making it impossible for someone to waste a product, in its own clever way.”
