them with one big dial to select the operating mode. It is all of these small touches, like the soft rubber grips for the handles, that give it that pleasant feel. You would hardly think about it, but they just round out the entire machine and give it this friendly, approachable nature. The deceivingly small appearance plays a major role in that as well, because while it looks like a very slim package, somehow they were able to still give it an operational brush width of 18 inches, which you would find on a typical scrubber drier.
We even heard that at one point some of the designers that worked on the machine were actually sent out to work for a cleaning company for a couple of months. Doing things like this really helped them to truly understand the needs and the circumstances of the people that will be working with the machine each day, and this shines through in the final design.
So now we have a machine which can truly replace the mop and bucket, which has never been the case in the past. But not only replacing the mop, also replacing any small and medium sized scrubber dryer.
The major difference with the i-mop is that everybody is your customer. I always say to my dealers and sales staff that you can drive down the street and nearly all businesses could be customers; from a hospital, nursing home, car showroom, school to a restaurant and many more, which is not the case with other machines. We have found that cleaning staff love using the machine versus a mop or normal scrubber dryer, which is a massive selling point, as a happy cleaner is a productive cleaner.
The i-mop is really going to change the way people think about cleaning. I have really been surprised by how customers get so excited about the i-mop concept. Moving forward it is our job to show customers how they can save money, improve productivity and most importantly improve cleaning standards.

The i-vac And i-clean Range After we were introduced to the i-mop we were then introduced to the rest of the range.
The i-vac is the best tub and upright vacuum cleaner we have ever sold. That is saying a lot as we have been selling vacuum cleaners for more than 50 years. The machines are innovative, user friendly, reliable and good value for money, which is really what every customer is looking for. Vacuum cleaners overall have become so cheap in the past 10 years but despite this they do not give real value. We feel that the i-vac will give the cheapest cost in use over other vacuum cleaners due to its reliability
and longevity. The à la carte program even allows organisations to come in and customise aspects of the machine, like the colour of the shell and badging, to really make their own vac.
The i-clean range is starting to look very interesting. This range is being extended all the time and will be one to really watch out for in the future. As with the rest of the product range, it is very innovative, user friendly and good value for money.
