you about this. We hope to get the pathway sorted later this year. In the meantime, we’ve cleaned away the moss, cleaned the area and cut the grass.
Dear the Key I have asked a few times if I could get my back garden cleaned up a bit. It has lots of tree branches on the ground and really is an eyesore. I’ve also asked for the back stairs to be mended and possibly a rail installed, so I can get down to my back garden. Hope you can help. Esther McGregor, Acredyke Road Thanks for your letter Esther. The council cuts your grass and hedges, but we’ve also been out to give it a once- over. Hope this helps.
Dear the Key I moved into my house in 2013 and the garden was in a terrible state, with a smashed stair, overgrown trees and grass. I was told the front of my house would be overclad, but it hasn’t been done. My front garden is full of tree stumps. I can’t let my grandchildren out in case they have an accident. I was in a tenement for 25 years and was over the moon to get my own garden, but it’s now affecting my health. Sandra McLeish, Hallhill Road Thanks for your letter Sandra. We’ve already carried out quite a bit of work on your garden. We’re looking into installing the cladding and hope to have a decision on that soon. Your housing officer will be in touch.
Dear the Key Can you help tidy up our place? There’s glass all over our back court, the grass and the paths at the front of our flats need done. Other

your garden, or any other view of Glasgow? If so, why not send them in to the Key’s star photo and we’ll print the best one.

flats have new lawns and drying greens but I think we’ve been forgotten about. We haven’t had our close cleaned for months either. It’s mostly pensioners here. I’d be grateful if you could help. J Fullerton, Crookston Avenue We’ve been out to sort out the issues with your garden. We know your home needs some work done and we’re looking to find a way of doing that. Your housing officer will be in touch.
Dear the Key I live in Carntyne and it’s lovely except for the grass area we have in the middle of the houses. There are two signs saying no ball games, but now and again there are young people playing football. It’s really annoying. M White, Rigby Avenue We’ve taken your comments on board. However it’s a family estate and the kids there will play football. We’ll keep an eye on it. Sorry we can’t be of more help.
