NEW VENUE, E1, TO OPEN IN LONDON

Wapping welcomes E1, a cutting-edge, late-night venue that’s set to reawaken the city’s live electronic music scene.

The venture is the brainchild of a group of professionals with proven track records in the music and events industry. The venue owners have worked with the country’s leading promoters and production houses. The bookers are the orchestrators of some of London’s biggest events over the last decade. The management team comes with experience from the capital’s best alternative venues.

Driven by a bold vision, the collective is currently transforming a former factory into a vast, dedicated world-class music space named E1. The venue’s experienced team will curate a wide- ranging programme of live music, attracting the best established and emerging talent in electronic music from around the globe. Plus, a blank-canvas events space will host multidisciplinary arts performances.

The creators are working with acoustic consultancy and pioneering audio specialists Sound Services Ltd, to install a bespoke, integrated sound system to rival any in the capital. The Funktion-One system has been painstakingly designed and utilises the company’s latest loudspeaker products and technological innovations. An exceptional air conditioning system will also add to E1’s premium status. It’s the venue London has needed for years.

E1 London will open its doors as London’s newest nightclub on New Year’s Eve with a staggering 27-hour party.
