News SMITH & SINCLAIR LAUNCH NEW DESIGNS AND FORMAT
LONDON-BASED EDIBLE COCKTAIL INNOVATORS INTRODUCE NEW PACKAGING DESIGNS AND SINGLE SERVES TO ITS RANGE OF SUCCESSFUL ALCOHOLIC PASTILLES
Edible Cocktail pioneers Smith & Sinclair, are proud to announce updated flavours and new gift options for its hugely successful range of alcoholic Edible Cocktails. Each pastille will now be individually wrapped in pick ‘n mix-inspired single serves, which will also be available in beautiful new premium gift boxes of eight and sixteen.
All packaging features bold new artwork that is influenced by the molecular composition of each alcoholic spirit used in Smith & Sinclair’s creations (gin, vodka, whisky and rum). The single serves are also available in multipacks for weddings and events online via the Smith & Sinclair website, alongside the new Cocktail Gift Boxes. Retail stockists of the boxes include Harvey Nichols, Fenwicks and more.
Available in eight different flavours across four spirits, Smith & Sinclair’s range of single serve Edible Cocktails are perfect for dinner parties, turndown hotel amenities, cocktail garnishes, weddings and of course gifts. The full range includes Berry Daiquiri, Spiced Rum, Elderflower Spritz, Gin & Tonic, Rhuby Mule, Long Island ‘High Tea’, Whisky Sour and Godson. At 7% ABV per pastille, each one is made by hand in London using only high quality spirits, fresh fruit and real spices. Following feedback from customers, Smith & Sinclair now use 55% ABV spirits instead of 40% to give even more of a kick with no loss to the natural, premium flavour that the company is so renowned for.
In a nod to Smith & Sinclair’s microscopic attention to detail and playful spirit, the entire collection is wrapped in a new brand design that showcases a blend of gorgeous colours scattered over stark molecular patterns. This concept extends to the new premium boxes that house the vodka, gin, rum, whisky and mixed selections, which are specifically designed with gifting in mind. A stand out, luxury item for retail, the new Cocktail Gift

Boxes are perfect for those looking for something a little different whether as a gift alternative to bottle of wine or just to treat themselves.
Single serves will be available for wholesale and in multipacks for weddings and events. Cocktail Gift Boxes are priced at £15.99 for eight and £24.99 for a sixteen Cocktail Gift Box (exclusively in gin and mixed selections).
Challenging previous perceptions of how alcohol should be consumed, Smith & Sinclair deconstruct cocktails into weird, wonderful and delicious new creations. Founders Melanie Goldsmith and Emile Bernard launched the London-based company in 2014 and have since gone on to collaborate with the likes of Google, Just Eat, Ted Baker and many more. Earlier this year Smith & Sinclair went viral with their limited edition ‘Trump Sucks’ lollipop, donating all profits to the International Planned Parenthood Federation.
Speaking about the new launches Co-Founder Melanie Goldsmith says: “We spent the first two years of the business listening to what our customers love and what they would like improved and have used this feedback to drive
everything from semiotic direction to the taste of the products in this latest brand development. We couldn’t be prouder of what we’re launching this year and are incredibly excited to see the reception. We want to forge a category and believe this new product and brand identity will do just that.”
Aside from confectionery, Smith & Sinclair also curate extraordinary experiences. Last year, they launched The Flavour Rooms at The Sanderson Hotel and Bluewater Shopping Centre, offering everything from edible perfume workshops, to alcoholic dip dabs, to vapour orbs, to breathe-in cocktails, to edible bubbles. This year they took the Flavour Rooms one step further with a month-long pop-up on Carnaby St, which sold out in a matter of days and featured an experimental cocktail garnish bar in partnership with Diageo’s Tanqueray Gin. Later this year Smith & Sinclair are to unveil a brand new concept to once again raise the bar in brand experiences.
