QUANTUS PSM HAVE ABSOLUTE CONVICTION IN THEIR BUSINESS STRAPLINE ‘LET’S BE AMAZING TOGETHER’


Co-owners Kevin Denyer and Matt Kearslake have a few people to thank who certainly gave them the important insight and the values of an open, honest and transparent approach to conducting their business from both an internal and external point of view.


They probably need to thank JD Wetherspoon too and their excellent hotel and pub in Henley on Thames, where most of the planning and strategizing about the future of Quantus PSM began - especially over a 14oz Sirloin with Onion Rings on a Tuesday Steak Night! Matt stated, “The support of our family, friends and our large network of trusted business contacts really helped too, pushed us forward to launch Quantus and we are evolving all the time.”


Kevin earned his 30-year stripes in the Foodservice sector and a large part of this was as Purchasing Director for Fairway Foodservice working closely with Wholesalers and Manufacturers. Matt has been closely associated with

the Foodservice and Hospitality sectors for almost 30 years too. Kevin highlighted, “our similar but different backgrounds complement each other really well with an in-depth knowledge of the overall supply chain from not only from a commercial point of view but operationally too.”


There is 2 main strands to Quantus PSM – firstly they assist Hospitality and Catering businesses to improve their purchasing – whether this is managing their client’s supplier pricing on a monthly basis, undertaking complete category reviews and tenders or becoming a ‘virtual’ purchasing department. Secondly, they work with food and drink manufacturers to raise their profile by increasing awareness and sales of their products, into Foodservice Wholesalers and End- User Caterers.


Current clients for their purchasing support services include Contract Caterers and a National Hotels Group,


whilst on the Sales representation side, they are working with 5 manufacturers who not only produce fantastic quality food and drink products but have excellent back stories too.


Kevin and Matt agree, there is no greater sector to work in than Foodservice and Hospitality. Excellent food and drink with great service and passion are watchwords of these 2 amazing sectors, which not only emulates what we are trying to achieve at Quantus but is part of our DNA.
