a big-hearted Tarleton State Univer- sity student. She spent a big portion of her spring break, March 13-16, as- sisting with Wildfire Relief effort in Gray County. Talk about God putting a person in the right place! Debbie bunked in the home of Mike and Katherine Jeffcoat and helped out in Mike’s swamped office. After a long day at work one of those days, she and Katherine enjoyed a ride to- gether.

Losses Leroy Lange, 98, Round Rock,

died January 21 at his home. Through the years, he showed and won at some of the nation’s largest AQHA shows with his horse, Easy Rider 6. He and his wife, Ruth, were instru- mental in the founding of Capitol Area QHA.

NRHA 3 Million Sire since Novem- ber 2015, passed away February 15. Many will remember that Tom Mc- Cutcheon showed him for years. Ac- cording to the ranch’s Emily Mabey, Tuffy enjoyed his last days grazing amongst mares in the pasture.
