Once he was rehabil- itated and older, he entered a training competition and was adopted by his trainer. Napoleon and his trainer now trail ride and also compete in hunter/ jumper shows – and they’ve amassed quite the col- lection of ribbons. Napoleon is not only proof of the dedication of Bluebonnet volunteers, but he’s also proof that rescue horses can achieve great things if given the chance.
