Message from the Publisher you only live BRIAN WARREN Welcome to the first issue of Bounder for 2017 and,
hopefully, the snow is gone and we are well into nice weather. As usual it was hard getting the first Bounder of the
year out. You would hope that going into our eighth year would make it easier. It doesn’t help that I took some time off to do a little
deep sea fishing and golfing, but you only live once, so go out and enjoy life. In this issue, you will find all the vital
information you car enthusiasts will need for the car show season. I’m looking forward to hitting a few shows this year and checking out some of the
fantastic rides that are out there. We also have some great information on a
growing problem in eastern Ontario, namely ticks and how anyone that enjoys the outdoors must pay attention to these Lyme carrying insects. I know that they are in the bush around Calabogie and we now check ourselves

regularly for bites. This being the 150th birthday of Canada, there are tons of
events happening in our country and I anticipate a very busy summer for everyone. We plan to hit some of the outdoor concerts, especially Kemptville Live. Last year we had a blast there and the lineup gets better every year. We are also planning a fishing trip to Temagami and the
Queen Charlotte Islands in BC. Did I mention that you only live once? Well, it’s Sunday morning, two weeks from deadline, so

motorcycles. Once!
