June 10 – 11 The Dutch are coming! Upnor Castle, High Street, Upnor, Rochester Part of the Medway celebrations, this family- friendly event depicts the brave but ineffective battle in 1667, when the Dutch sailed up the Medway to attack the English fleet. Learn the tactics which
resulted in the capture of HMS Royal Charles and other ships moored at Chatham. Living history activities with cannon displays, drill displays, a blacksmith and weaving.
