MISSION Te Bermuda High School for Girls is committed to educating its students to the highest international standards and to fostering confident, responsible global citizens.


Educating tomorrow’s leaders—locally as well as internationally—is at the heart of this exceptional single-sex school, nestled on four acres in Pembroke on the outskirts of the City of Hamilton. Graduates receive offers to pursue academic degrees at top colleges and universities in North America and Europe. Those who return to Bermuda readily move into key positions in all sectors of the economy, including insurance, accounting, hospitality, as well as the arts and not- for-profit sectors. Many are doctors, lawyers and teachers, chartered accountants, actuaries and engineers.


BHS recently reviewed the challenges the School faces, and the needs it must fulfil, in order to sustain its high record of achievement. This resulted in the creation of a Comprehensive Master Plan designed to enrich the curriculum to meet 21st century demands, in addition to modernising and expanding outdated facilities to meet the high standard of teaching and learning for which BHS is known.
