THE ANNUAL APPEAL


This campaign provides an opportunity to even better support our students and teachers. The 2015–2016 and 2016–2017 Annual Appeals are included at elevated amounts to ensure that BHS can provide for future growth and meet new challenges as they arise, including the continuing and increased need in our community for a strong financial aid programme. Almost one third of students are receiving needs-based tuition assistance, with most in the Secondary department, receiving bursaries averaging 25% of


the cost of tuition. BHS believes strongly in the benefits of being a community school, and will continue to work hard to keep students at BHS. The Appeal also supports special projects, the purchase of necessary equipment and other teaching tools, and ensures our students are taught in the best learning environment possible. The growth of the Annual Appeal is essential in ensuring BHS can provide the best education for its students.
