and in full so that their vehicle is recognised by the camera system or they may be issued with a parking charge notice (PCN). Motorists can pay for parking with coins, card or by using the pay by phone RingGo service. Berthholders at Darthaven Marina will have their current registrations entered in the system automatically. They will be issued with a permit for Regatta Week. Annual permit holders (NOT to be confused with South Hams Permit Holders on the roads in the village) will not need to pay and display but the vehicle registration number (VRN) must be pre-registered with PPS. There will be a ‘free’ hour of parking available between 9am and 5.00pm, Monday - Sunday for a short-stay to allow access to the Post Office, village stores,

RDYC etc and for visits to the Marina Chandlery but vehicle details must still be entered and a free ticket acquired and displayed. There will be no more ‘free’ parking in the evenings in either car park unless a Darthaven Berth Holder or a Registered PPS Permit Holder. Any vehicle parking without pre- registering or displaying a valid pay and display ticket will automatically incur a PCN. These charges will be managed by PPS and any contesting of the PCN must be dealt with by PPS alone – not Darthaven Marina. We have passed the details of existing annual permit holders to PPS who will get in touch to explain what will be necessary for the remainder of this year and will notify you of any changes.

We will no longer be able to make changes to the registered VRN therefore any change to the

registered VRN must be reported to PPS in accordance with their guidelines.

Please also note that all car park rules set out by PPS will apply to all users. Therefore, all vehicles must be parked neatly and within 1 parking bay. Any additional spaces used by ‘poor judgement’ etc. risk the driver being issued a PCN. There will be 10 minutes ‘grace’ for the purchase of a ticket. The existing Marina Car Park attendants will be on site until the end of March but cannot be approached to allow free parking as the vehicles will be automatically monitored as they enter and leave the Car Park which will not be operated by Darthaven Marina any longer.
