Potential dates for your diary this month include a coffee morning and book sale at Upton Library on 1st and 15th (pg28), a church history talk at St Mary’s on 5th (pg28), a meeting about local crime and safety on 7th (pg8), Fair Trade coffee mornings at Upton Methodist church on 7th and 8th (pg28), a talk at the Lytchett Minster & Upton Gardening Club on 23rd (pg24), the Table Top Sale at Upton Community Centre on 25th (pg12), a lecture at Lychett Minster School on alternative energy on 28th (pg14) and a dementia information morning on 29th March at Waypoints care home (pg32).
The Gallery Upstairs at Upton Country Park is hosting Broadstone Art Society’s spring exhibition until 6th March, then the Poole & East Dorset Art Society’s exhibition from 7-24th April. The Beacon Association (pg6) is also keen to draw your attention to the Dorset Venison Festival on 29th April and the Family Fun Run at Upton House on 30th April (pg29).
The Laptop Fixers (pg30) have some great tips for looking after your laptop this month, and Broadstone Physiotheraphy (pg26) explains its interesting new service: Therapeutic Bike Fitting; to help adjust your bike and your posture for a more comfortable ride.
