FRIENDS 4 UPTON LIBRARY Coffee Morning & Book Sale 10-11.30am, 1st & 15th March


Brownsea Island Slide Show


7.30pm, Wednesday 29th March Presentation by Neil Bichard about the history of this magical island and some of its fl ora and fauna. 50p for members of F4UL and £2 for non members. Refreshments will be served.


CHURCH HISTORY TALK Sunday 5th March


From 3-5pm at St Mary’s Church, Lytchett Matravers, BH16 6BS.


A talk with slides on the history of the church from around 1200, including the Lords of the Manor Maltravers, Arundels and Trenchards. Did you know about the 'Squint' or have you seen the window dating from around C1300? New information has come to light about some of the stones that make up the church building.


Come and hear this interesting talk and take time to view some of the history in more detail. Tickets £5 (include tea and cake), from Lytchett Matravers Library, Hannam’s Butchers or call 01202 625635.

Poole & East Dorset Art Society (PEDAS) presents a sumptuous celebration of food and drink conveyed in drawing, painting, and sculpture.
