Hopefully it’s okay to use this word, but Versace is all about sex, and glamour, and this spring summer show oozed them both. Versace’s raison d’être is to stand out in any crowd, whether it be a red carpet event or simply sashaying down to the local market in Monaco. Subtle classic blacks with sliced layers, African inspired Batik patterns in loud hues, awesome cool long coats and modular wool street smarts. This show had something for every- one. You could build your entire wardrobe here. As Edwina in Ab Fab put it, Versace is still the king and this show lived up to the hype. Ladies, this is Surrey Magazines’ top pick for the spring summer.
