GALERIE UND KUNSTANTIQUARIAT JOSEPH FACH GmbH G

for the family-owned business it is today. Since 2016 the gallery has been located in Oberursel in Taunus and it is

T

run - now in the third generation - by Martin Fach. Te programme of the gallery includes special exhibitions of single

artists as well as genre exhibitions, but the main emphasis is put on carefully investigated descriptions of fine European drawings and graphic works of art from the 16th to the beginning of the 20th century, of oil sketches by German artists of the 19th century and of paintings and oil sketches by European, mainly German-speaking artists of the 17th to 19th century. Te results of our investigations will be published regularly in valuable catalogues.

he gallery was founded in 1928 by Joseph Fach, a passionate collector of visual arts, who made his passion a profession and formed the basis

GALLERY FACH, GALLERY OF FINE ARTS AND GRAPHIC WORKS OF ART As you can clearly see in our catalogues, nearest to our heart are

paintings made during the first half of the 19th century. We also share this particular liking with many of our customers. Tis very interesting and eventful time - regarding the developments in visual art - attracts us all the more because here we can find the very beginning of Modern Art. By participating in many different art fairs and antiquarian book fairs

in Germany, starting in the 60s, we were able to build up a national as well as international network from private collectors to important museums. But we also use ‘New Media’ when presenting our new entries and for

items published in our catalogues on our website. We look forward to welcoming you on our online-gallery.
