Follow-up order for Valmet from Dongda Paper Co in China

A moisturiser system is being supplied to Dongda Paper Co at Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province, China, by Valmet. The IQ Moisturizer will enable the mill to improve board quality on its PM2 paper machine. “The IQ Moisturizer is very important for our PM2. Before [making] our decision, we visited another mill where it has been installed and were very impressed by its performance. We expect the solution to solve our current curl issue and help us to increase the machine speed to the targeted level,” said

Sun Guanfa, general manager at Dongda Paper Co. Guo Zhutuan, sales director for

automation at Valmet, added: “We had earlier supplied a DNA distributed control system, a IQ quality control system and an IQ Process and Quality Vision (PQV) system for Zhejiang Dongda Paper’s PM2, and the mill has been very satisfied with their good performance and stable runnability. The IQ Moisturizer will now provide the mill with easy and fast curl control without any other curl control measures.”

TwinFlo low-consistency refiners as the second refining stage,

newsprint manufacturers in Russia and Europe and uses only TMP technologies for producing the pulp which is fed to the newsprint paper machines. Volga’s paper products are shipped to more than 60 countries worldwide.
