Chuck Holmes was a founder and marketing genius for the groundbreaking studio of adult gay films. In this smart and “you can’t help it” sexy documentary, director Michael Stabile showcases how the gay sexual revolution came into place with Holmes at the forefront. In his later years, many of the HRC’s initial fundraising efforts received a much-


needed boost from Chuck Holmes’s philanthropy.Out October 4.


COMING OUT “Come out, come out, wherever you are and meet the young gay people who are proud of who they are.” Alden Peters creates a very heartwarming and real documentary of his own personal coming out. Peters truly does an inspiring job of his personal struggle with his sexual identity and filming the difficult moments with his family and friends. It’s a hopeful film that solidifies the positive and never loses sight of heart of being LGBT to the twenty-somethings in 2016. Truly eye-opening in this regard.

OVATION! Filmmaker Henry Jaglom captures the personalities of theatre actors and the ongoing “business” end of a show. Both realistic and at moments, somewhat far-fetched…Ovation! will speak to anyone who has ever spent time on stage in the light or behind the curtain in the theatre. The dynamics of ego, talent and insecurity are all there. There is always money and fame added to the mix. Tanna Frederick and James Denton in the starring roles hold the interest with their charm, wiles and chemistry as things unravel.
