Miwok Valley Language Academy, which is part of the
Old Adobe Union School District, was named a California Distin- guished School in 1992.

year,” said Brett Wilson, principal of Miwok Valley. “We are excited about the new campus and are ready to fi ll it with the spirit of our Miwok community.” Over 370 students from transition-
al kindergarten through sixth grade will attend school at the modern- ized Miwok Valley this year. “The new space honors the hard work and commitment of our teachers, students and families,” said Wil- son. “They are well-deserving of a beautiful, environmentally friendly place in which to learn.”
