Comedian Frank Caliendo Comes to the Paramount Theater

Yoga Nanda Teacher Training Y

C

oga Nanda and its owner, Cara Stone, are pleased to announce the Path to Self-Realization 200-Hour Teacher

Training commencing in November. This unique program will provide a strong foundation for a life-long connection with yoga. Students will draw from their inner passion to transform their life both on and off the mat. Stone has also joined with Leslie Luft, of Absolute Yoga,

to provide renowned guest presenters for workshop modules that will also be open to the communities to attend. They are as follows:

• Leslie Kaminoff - Anatomy • Lorin Roche - Meditation • Girish - Chanting • Manorama - Sanskrit • Patricia Morris - Bhagavad Gita & Philosophy

Yoga Nanda was founded in 2011 by Jules Boutelle as the first stand-alone yoga studio in Garden City. Boutelle passed the studio on to Stone in 2013, and since then, the vision for what Yoga Nanda can be has grown stronger. Yoga Long Beach was started by Hana Hershko as a place that inspired laughter, happiness and service. In 2014, when Hershko passed Yoga Long Beach on to Stone, she was entrusting it to someone she knew would facilitate the com- munity’s expansion. Stone has worked to nourish both studios and the stu-

dents that have grown with the studios. Now known as Yoga Nanda: Garden City or Long Beach, Yoga Nanda continues to be a united and blossoming community where students explore and practice the ancient tools of transformation, grounded in the eight-limbed path of yoga.

omedian, actor, and impressionist Frank Caliendo will be performing at the Paramount, in Huntington, on September 23 and is sure to bring tons of laughter. Cali- endo has been making people laugh his entire life. He is well known for his impressions of famous actors Morgan Free- man, Al Pacino, Robin Williams and Robert DeNiro; politicans George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama; broadcast- ers John Madden, Charles Bar- kley and Jon Gruden; and talk show hosts Dr. Phil, Jay Leno and David Letterman. On stage, Caliendo’s high- energy act is a blend of obser- vations, impressions, characters and anecdotal stories that start at a frenetic pace and never let up. Appropriately described by the Hollywood Reporter as “a combination of Robin Wil- liams and Jim Carrey,” Caliendo is one comedian that should not be missed. After completing an impressive 10-year run on the NFL

on FOX Pregame Show, Frank recently found a new home over at ESPN, where he joined the cast of the Sunday NFL Countdown. Realizing that ESPN has a plethora of strong personalities, Caliendo has added to his already vast arsenal of impressions, a new set of highly entertaining sports per- sona, including Jon Gruden, Mel Kiper Jr., Ron “Jaws” Jawor- ski, coach Mike Ditka, Adam Schefter and Chris “Boomer” Berman. Beyond ESPN’s NFL show, Caliendo’s segments have appeared on Sports Center and his Gruden’s QB Camp seg- ments and Super Bowl Richard Sherman 30 for 30 mocu- mentary have gone viral across the web. An 11-year veteran of television sketch comedy as a cast

member on Mad TV and starring in his own series, Frank TV, Caliendo has been a fixture on television for the last de- cade. He has comedy specials that run regularly on TBS and Comedy Central, and he is a regular on the talk show circuit performing on such shows as The View, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, The Tonight Show, and Late Show with David Letterman. Though Caliendo is highly known for his variety of sports-related impressions, he makes his live shows appeal- ing for everyone in the audience by continually including a little bit of every major genre—sports, political figures and celebrities. His live shows are also clean and family friendly.
