ttend Om Sweet Om Yoga’s Fall Teacher Training and train to be a teacher, or simply come along because you
love yoga and wish to deepen your practice. In Om Sweet Om Yoga’s Yoga Alliance registered training program, you will learn to teach and gain insights into the practice, history, philosophy and anatomy of yoga from the studio’s most experienced and inspiring yoga teachers. You will receive instruction in teaching to all ages, including yoga for kids, mom and baby yoga and prenatal yoga. You will delve into ayurvedic medicine, the chakra system and
the sutras. Most importantly, you will discover more about yourself than you ever imagined, and can take this newfound self-awareness back into the world and do amazing things! The training program runs from September 13 to De-
cember 8 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The cost is $3,000, which includes un- limited yoga classes during teacher training and one month thereafter! Payment plans are available. Om Sweet Om Yoga is also running a unique workshop
titled An Afternoon of Pranayama with Dages Keates on Sun- day, September 25, from 2 to 4 p.m. Utilize Dages’ pragmat- ic formulas of movement, breath and imagination to amplify your energy, flush your glands, and rewire your neurology. These pranayama techniques are derived from classical, Ka- tonah and kundalini yoga, and feature the breath as the focus of the meditative experience. Using breath manipulation, rhythm and rich imagery, you will learn to systematically travel through all of the “rooms” of your body in order to increase the elasticity of the lungs, regulate mood and body temperature, and feel fantastic!

Yoga Bhakti Dharma School at Come Together Yoga 200-Hour Teacher Training

Its spiritual teachings provide a strong founda- tion and necessary tools for self-study and self-growth, and it empowers practitioners to live from the heart, leading to more positive relationships and rapid global change. The Yogi Bhakti Dharma Teacher Training program at Come Together Yoga is ideal for seasoned teachers and dedicated practitioners. This teacher training is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to change your life and give you the tools to teach. Many of the teacher trainees have gone on to become successful yoga teachers! The program will start on October 30 and end on No-
vember 20. There is an eight-day immersion from October 30 to November 6 and then two more weekend immersions, November 11 to 13 and November 18 to 20. The final week- end will take place at a beautiful retreat in upstate New York.
Some of the topics to be covered include:
* How to sequence and teach a hatha yoga class * How to assess and assist students * Anatomy and the physical benefits of yoga * Pranayama (breathing exercises) * Yogic nutrition and introduction to Ayurveda * Deep relaxation and yoga nidra * Meditation * Yogic philosophy
