hy did we start up our business in Bristol? Largely the excellent communication links, with fast access to the motorway

network. This was and still is key to our business as we supply the whole of the UK from here. Over the years, Bristol’s had its fair share of ups and

downs, through economic recessions that hit the whole of the UK, but the city has always maintained an energy that’s helped it bounce back and now it’s a shining example of what industry and commerce can achieve.

Fellow director Tony Hornsby and I started Eurobrick in 1990, when we patented the first comprehensively designed, insulated brick slip cladding system in the UK. The system provided a solid platform for us to develop the range of products we have today, including our flagship system X-Clad. We have grown to become leading specialists in this field and one of the UK’s largest stockists of brick slips. Our cladding systems have been installed right across the country on hundreds of McDonald’s drive
