Two vehicles (pictured) were completely burned out and three others were damaged at the car park in Rocfort Road, Snodland. He said: “Although itwas an hour
later you could feel the heat com- ing off it. Linda said: “The police were banging on our front door at about 11.30. They said there had been a fire in the car park, damaging five vehicles, and two fire engines had attended." Linda's car, a VW Golf, was 19
years old, taxed, insured, withMOT and children's car seats. She added that she has to have
a car and bought a new one the following day. She was full of praise for her insurance company, SAGA, for their help.

Damaged bus shelter replaced after two-year delay
THE bus shelter in Holborough Road between Ostlers Court and Queens Avenue, Snodland – dam- aged by a bus almost two years ago – has finally been replaced! Town Talk reported in October
2014 that residentswere complain- ing that a new shelter had not been erected. Mike O'Brien, of Tonbridge &Malling Council. said at the time: "The contractor has been asked to
replace the shelter but we do not have a date for installation yet." After more complaints we re-
