UK TEAM BEATS OFF GLOBAL COMPETITION

Skills in Healthcare, the contract sales arm of Alliance Healthcare, has been listed as a finalist for the Investors in People (IiP) ‘Best Newcomer Award 2016’: another fantastic accolade following the company’s recent achievement of the accreditor’s Gold Standard.

An experienced professional judging panel assessed 340 applications across 22 countries for the competitive and coveted Best Newcomer Award 2016. The Skills in Healthcare team beat off strong competition not only in the UK, but from across the IiP global community, and has now made the final six. The judging panel highly praised Skills in Healthcare, stating: ‘It is not just about the Investors in People accreditation for Skills in Healthcare, it’s about long-term investment in employees which in turn will lead to an improved business.’

‘To achieve Investor in People Gold is a wonderful accomplishment for our business,’ said Skills in Healthcare’s General Manager, David Bull, ‘and demonstrates that our people are fully engaged and feel valued. To now be a finalist for the 2016 best newcomer category is very exciting and I am incredibly proud of the team.’

A high profile group of industry leaders will now review the shortlisted applications. The final decision will be revealed at the Investors in People Awards Ceremony, which will be held in London on 29 June 2016.
