q Assist Maid (Matron) of Honor in planning and hosting bridal showers.
q Help with wedding favors. q Run errands as needed by the bride. q Help decorate the reception hall, if needed. q Attend rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. q Arrive early at the wedding dressing site. q Walk down the aisle before the Maid (Matron) of Honor, flower girl, and ring bearer.

GROOMSMEN AND USHERS q Purchase or rent wedding attire. q Assist in planning and financing the bachelor party. q Attend the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. q Arrive dressed at least 1 hour before the wedding. q Fold and distribute wedding programs. q Ensure that all family members have corsages/ boutonnieres before being seated.
q Seat guests as follows: q Single females are escorted on the right. q Single males should walk along the left side. q Escort the female of a couple on the right with her date walking behind.

FATHER OF THE GROOM q Assist in compiling guest list. q Purchase or rent wedding attire. q Pay for and host the rehearsal dinner. q Propose the first toast at the rehearsal dinner. q Arrive dressed 1 hour before the wedding. q Stand to the left of the mother of the groom in the receiving line.
q Pay for all beverages at the wedding reception. MOTHER OF THE GROOM q Assist in compiling guest list. q Purchase a dress that is complementary in color and style to the mother of the bride's dress. q Plan the rehearsal dinner.
q Arrive dressed 1 hour before the wedding. q Stand to the left of the bride's parents in the receiving line. MOTHER OF THE BRIDE q Assist bride in the selection of wedding gown and accessories as well as the color and style of the attendants' gowns.
q Help prepare guest list. q Help record gifts received. q Select a dress that will complement the color scheme of the wedding and inform the mother of the groom of the choice.
q Assist in details of ceremony and reception (i.e. caterer, DJ, photographer, etc.).
q Arrive dressed before the bride and the bridal party. q Bring the guest book and unity candle to the ceremony and then to the reception.
q Stand at the head of the receiving line. q Serve as official hostess at the wedding and reception. q Gather the gifts after the reception and hold for the couple until after the honeymoon.
FATHER OF THE BRIDE q Assist in preparing the guest list. q Purchase or rent wedding attire that matches that of the groom and other male wedding attendants.
q Ride with the bride to the ceremony. q Escort bride down the aisle on left arm. Stands to the left of the mother of the bride in the receiving line.
q Co-hosts the reception. q Dances second dance with the bride at the reception. q Helps gather gifts after the reception. q Last to leave reception. FLOWER GIRL q Parents pay for dress and any alterations needed. q Attends rehearsal and attends the rehearsal dinner with her parents.
q Arrives dressed 1 hour before the ceremony. (If very young, 30 minute early may be more appropriate.)
q Precedes the bride and her father in the processional, while scattering flower petals in the bride's path.
q Attends the reception with parents. RING BEARER q Parents pay for attire that matches or complements the groom's attire.
q Attends rehearsal and attends the rehearsal dinner with her parents.
q Arrives dressed 1 hour before the ceremony. (If very young, 30 minute early may be more appropriate.)
