Silent Pool Gin T
he Surrey Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty, is now also home to the Silent Pool Distillers. Located on the Duke of Northumberland’s Albury Estate, the distillery takes its name from the mythical, spring-fed pools from which it draws its water. Produced with a unique blend of 24 botanicals, the liquid is rich and clean, juniper-driven with floral layers of lavender and chamomile. Fresh notes of citrus and kafir lime are grounded with the subtle sweetness of local honey, creating a well- balanced gin that is both traditional and refreshingly individual.

World’s Largest Bottle of Gin Unveiled in the Surrey Hills
the gin the clarity and depth of the crystal clear and cold Silent Pools, which are fed by an artisanal spring flowing from deep within the heart of the chalk downs. The waters of these pools are pure and deep, with colours fading from striking blue to hues of emerald green.
Recently at Hedonism Wines, Mayfair the Surrey distillery unveiled their world record breaking bottle of gin. The goliath bottle- the only nine litre bottle of gin in the world – was hand painted by artist Laura Barrett. The price tag was an eye watering £5,000 and you won’t find a larger bottle of gin commercially available.

and long may it last!. Reminds me of country pubs when I
was a little banker/kid. This is were the local people drink and eat so very very friendly
and it's got a green outside for the kids and Dogs to play on in summer...
