raft In Focus is is celebrating its 17th year of organising some of the best known
contemporary craft fairs in the UK. Rob Chapman, who started his work life as a wood turner, established the company to give makers and visitors a new style of contemporary craft fair. Their events have earned an enviable reputation for selecting only the very best professional designers, artists and craftsmen for their individuality and innovation in contemporary design.
The next event being held is The Craft & Design Experience in Henley from 24-26 June. The venue will be Henley
Meadows adjacent to Fawley Court where the first show was held in 2004. This year there will be over 170 fabulous exhibitors with opportunities to be involved in a range of workshops and interesting demonstrations to include woodturning, chair making, woodcarving, metal sculpting, weaving. Special features include a food court, a varied programme of live music, Chinese lion dancing, storytellers and an impressive sculpture garden featuring a mix of styles from small glass water features to large bronze figures. For the first time there will also be ‘Inspired’ - a collaborative exhibition of work to buy
