Transforming your home luxuriuosly The L & C Company are all about creating luxurious interiors. They are award winning interior designers specialising in luxurious show houses and private homes. Based in Surrey the company was founded in 2004 by Lucy Manchester and Claire Grant and has gone from strength to strength offering clients a seamless and impeccable service.
Business partners Lucy and Claire have extensive backgrounds in property sales and an eye for exquisite design and service. This winning combination led the two best friends to found their interior design business, The L & C Company.
“The girls”, as they are affectionately known, had been accustomed to providing interior design advice to their families and friends but had not intended to start a business together.

It was a chance conversation over dinner one evening over 10 years ago that led to their successful partnership. Their developer friend was bringing a luxury mansion to market that had been converted into apartments. Lucy & Claire enthusiastically described how they would dress the communal
areas to look and feel like a luxury country house hotel and in so doing provide a grand and luxurious welcome to those who lived there and their guests. The developer invited them to pitch for the business and without as much as a company name or a business card they presented their scheme in
