This year the legendary Sir Tom Jones will kick off the Festival on 8th June and will perform two further concerts on 15th and 16th June. His irresistible show traverses musical eras and genres, appealing to young and old, men and women, mainstream and cutting edge. Tom says: “I’m so excited to be playing at King Henry VIII’s palace. It’s such an historic and beautiful setting and I look forward to seeing everyone for a great night out.”
Other artists include ten-time Grammy award winner George Benson; six-time Grammy award winner Van Morrison; powerhouse vocalist Anastacia; King of boogie- woogie Jules Holland & his Rhythm and Blues Band; multi-platinum selling artist Caro Emerald; and the Fanfare and Fireworks with the glorious Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. Iconic singer Art Garfunkel will perform on 22nd June. Highly critically acclaimed, he has made an indelible mark on the music world both as a solo artist and as half of the unrivalled Simon & Garfunkel duo. Famous for timeless classics including Bridge over Troubled Water, Sounds of Silence and Homeward Bound, Art Garfunkel remains among the most instantly recognisable talents in popular music. birthday with a sensational programme of glorious music on Thursday 23rd June. This comes on the heels of her performance at the Queen’s 90th Birthday Celebration in May. It is the first time that Katharine has returned to Hampton Court Palace since her wedding in 2014, making it an extra special occasion. At the Festival, Katharine will be accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra, with internationally renowned conductor Anthony Inglis. Highlights include World in Union, Land of Hope and Glory, and Jerusalem. On confirming her spot at the Festival, Katherine said: “Hampton Court Palace has always been a place close to my heart. Having got married there in 2014 as well as being a self- confessed Tudor geek, I’m over the moon to be performing at this truly special and iconic venue. I know the setting for this concert is simply breath taking and I will be singing me heart out to do it justice!”
Always an unforgettable experience, this famous Festival takes place in the historic main courtyard of the magnificent Tudor Palace. This unique venue provides an intimate atmosphere for an audience of 3,000. VIP packages are available in the state apartments and festival- goers can also arrive early (doors open at 5.30pm) to picnic on the Palace Garden lawn or beneath a luxury waterside gazebo before the show. New this year is the Champagne Concert Ticket offering premium front-of-stage seating and includes a glass of champagne to enjoy before the concert.
