Muny Sunk Stables Hendersonville, North Carolina www.munysunkstables.com All of our bloodlines are care- fully selected for their differ- ent qualities, but for the same outcome—to reach the high- est levels of show jumping. Our favorite cross so far is has been our colt by Canturo x Clinton x Darco. He has a great temperament and very power- ful gaits that are necessary for modern sport horse breeding to be successful. This colt has been retained by Aliboo Farm as a future stallion prospect and will be further developed in sport.

NeverSayNever Farm Wellington, Nova Scotia, Canada www.angelfire.com/ns2/our_horses/ As primarily a dressage breeder, my best horses to date are the result of crossing my KWPN-NA elite mare Bosanova NSN (Ferro x Never Say Never keur pref/Wanroij) to Totilas. Three offspring from this cross are proving consis- tency in type and move- ment. Bosanova NSN is 49 percent Thorough- bred by blood. Infusion of Thoroughbred blood adds refinement and a super work ethic. Totilas adds supple- ness and an excellent shoulder to the mix, to complement the powerful Ferro hind leg. Homebred Bosanova NSN was champion foal of the North

American keurings, and Top Five in her studbook and DG Bar Cup class (under saddle). Her first Totilas daughter, Hosanna NSN, was champion yearling of the North American keurings, and has been retained for breeding, with her first foal by Sir Gregory expected in June.

Oakwood Farms, Lawrenceburg, Indiana www.oakwoodhanoverian.com The Hanoverian stallion Widmark has stood at Oakwood Farms for fourteen years. He is sired by Wolkentanz out of SPS Marnie by Maat II, and has been a successful sire and compet- itor himself. In 2008 Widmark won Horse of the Year at First Level and now is competing at Grand Prix dressage at the age of eighteen. Widmark is known for producing very rideable offspring with very elastic movement, making them a great choice

for an adult amateur rider. His offspring are competing in a broad range of events, includ- ing hunter, eventing, dres- sage and fox hunting, and are winning year-end awards. A few of Widmark’s offspring have won at Devon and other top breed shows. Since he has been breeding in the United States, his foals year after year have won top foal at the American Hanoverian inspections, and have gone on to be elite mares or elite mare candidates.

Ridgefield Farm, Appleton, Maine www.facebook.com/debra.macmillan Ridgefield Farm strives to not only produce top dressage performance horses and stallion prospects, but also the best bloodline broodmares. It’s equally important that I consider what bloodlines I am combining to produce that phenome- nal future broodmare. I spend countless hours, mostly in the winter, viewing stallion videos and researching their offspring to see which mares they have produced their top offspring with. The mares in my program are

direct daughters of Furst Heinrich, Sandro Hit, San Amour x 2, San Remo, Foundation, Sezuan, De Laurentis and Don Primaire. Within the pedi- gree of these mares you will find De Niro, Donnerhall, Pik Bube, Welt- meyer, Hohenstein and Caprimond, just to name a few. Stallions that have complemented our mares are: Quaterback (bred five times), Foundation, San Amour, Sezuan, Glock’s Zonik and Soprano, plus many more with similar blood- lines. For me, consistent quality derives from this collection of top quality genes.

Rolling Stone Farm Slatington, Pennsylvania www.rollingstonefarm.com Here at Rolling Stone Farm, our premier homebred stal- lion, Shakespeare RSF, is not only proving himself under saddle, he has been our top producer of premium foals and

super riding horses.

Shakespeare RSF is sired by Sandro Hit. Word is that Sandro Hit offspring can be hot in their temperament, but we have found that is
