Key Warmbloods Red Deer County, Alberta, Canada www.keywarmbloods.com Key Warmbloods has been producing boutique-style, one- of-a- kind dressage foals since 2001. We offer young horses with highly concentrated FEI-level horses in their first four lines of pedigree. With quality mares imported from Europe, we believe in the frozen semen advantage and in the last few years have produced foals from Quaterback, Dayano, Blu Hors Zack, Uphill, Sunny Boy, Charmeur, Apache, Tolegro and more. Our mares include the line, and

others infused with Krack C, Flemmingh, Ferro, Wold- gang, Aktion, Sandro Hit, Neurejev, Cocktail and more. We have produced an

approved stallion for

Loon Creek Enterprises Huntington, Indiana www.looncreekenterprises.com In the 30-plus years at of our farm we have been lucky to own three lovely stallions, Advocate *Ps*, Malachi and Zulu MV, and some super producing mares, who when bred to a variety of stallions have consistently produced

athletes with

CWHBA and a Top Five year- ling for the KWPN-NA, and have won many young horse classes and inspections. Our foals have mostly sold to FEI dressage riders looking for that competitive edge from current bloodlines without having to travel to Europe. We continue to offer one-of-a-kind, special young horses already in North America, for serious dressage riders.

Lone Palm Ranch, Dade City, Florida nancydebosek@gmail.com The dam line cross of Wellington/Flemmingh via the imported mare Pasandra has been a successful one for Lone Palm Ranch in both jumping and dressage. Pasandra has earned us five Top Five in North America awards, eight first premium foals and two keur mares. Here are the most successful stallion choices for Lone Palm

Ranch. OO7 gave us two Top Five in North America horses, Zanzibar LPR and Cornerstone LPR. The stallion Orame has earned us two Top Five in NA awards. One is for Vibrant LPR, who also won reserve champion of her IBOP. The other was another mare Wistful Mae LPR, who was awarded ster. Gribaldi has sired our stal- lion En Garde LPR (out of Vibrant LPR), who is showing with Sean Cunningham in California. Olym- pic Ferro earned Lone Palm Ranch 2009 KWPN Champion dressage type foal with Eclipse LPR. And Wynton has given us two fabu- lous first premium foals, Giuliana LPR and Highfalutin LPR, that we are certain will do well with their owners.

good minds. Without a doubt the stallions Graditz *E* (Advocate’s sire and Malachi’s grandsire) and Abdullah *Pg*E* (Advo- cate’s dam’s sire) have significantly influenced our breeding program. But we owe much to these mares: Mallorka (Malachi’s dam who was by Gunnar, out of a Pregel mare);

Itamaria vom

Castell (by Pregelstrand *Ps*E*, from the Italia mare line); Helga (by the Donauwind son Blitzwind and whose grand- dam’s sire was the Anglo-Arabian Burnus); and the Thor- oughbred mare Rosey’s Lady (a very good jumper by the New Zealand stallion Felix Dee). Their offspring and grand offspring sold easily and we still have members of each of their families in our herd.

Maggie’s Menagerie, Ila, Georgia www.maggiesmenagerie.net It is the bloodlines that breeders connect with that will, in the end, make them the most successful. For us, the M-Line Holsteiners have been that bloodline. It is a line that had a difficult time finding its niche and thus fell out of favor in Europe, but its horses nonetheless found great success with Olympic medals in all disciplines. We currently stand the last approved stallion from this line and 2016 will be his last breeding season. These horses are forward-thinking, compet- itive, hard workers with a desire to please that can only be matched by the Thor- oughbreds from which they descend. They have been very successful event horses and jumpers. Crossing this line, on either the sire or dam’s side, with almost any other Holsteiner line will give you a horse that is sensible and ride- able but has the extra sensitivity and athleticism required of today’s top athletes. Having it in our program has been an honor and has given us grand prix and international event horses.

Advocate *Ps* was a successful Grand Prix jumper, but also won in eventing and dressage as a young stallion. He was a son of German Premium stallion Graditz *E* and out of a mare by the Olympic show jumper Abdullah *Pg*E*.
