Matsushima Bay presents charming scenery, with large and small pine clad islands scattered in the bay. It is admired as one of the three most scenic spots in Japan.
Built in 1910, the Korakukan is the oldest wooden theater in Japan. It has a traditional kabuki stage and a tatami seating area. The theater offers performances from April to December.
