Just to say “Congratulations” to David Weston on being invited by the Tourism Minister to join their new Tourism Council. It is a major step forward and a great achievement on your part. Good luck!

Regards, Jenny & Robin Farndale

I have to say I am so impressed with the efficiency of your online communications. I got my password this morning hours or days sooner than I expected, and was able to log on and read the relevant information (on PRS music licences). You are right, we have four bedrooms so we are liable.

But I had one bill for one year which was £88 and a bill for the current year which is £59, which seemed fishy. I then telephoned PRS and got an incredibly helpful young man who told me that it had all been done wrong, that they do not seek retrospective payments from businesses with fewer than 15 bedrooms so we should be paying only for this year.

There seems to be a disconnect between the telephone agency who are calling out for them and PRS reality. This is mentioned on your website. I don’t know if my experience today is of any interest, but offer it in the hope that it may help somebody else - don’t just accept the charge, phone PRS and check it out.

Best wishes, Andrew
