And finally, a ‘global figure’ in tourism, the Secretary General of the UN World Tourism Organisation no less, echoed our own message last week when he called for ‘equality & fairness’ with Airbnb-type businesses: Governments ‘must ensure consumer safety . . and guarantee a level playing field’ between ‘sharing economy’ and traditional businesses.
