Britain’s B&Bs are Best – again
News& Views
“Britain is B&B royalty versus rest of the world” says TripAdvisor – “no other country even comes close to as many winners”. Nine of the world’s top 25 B&Bs, and four of the top ten, are British. Our member Sue Burrell says what it is like to be crowned ‘World No. 1’ on page 6.
“Given there are almost one million hotels and B&Bs listed on TripAdvisor worldwide, the fact that the UK is home to so many winning properties speaks volumes for the quality and competitiveness of the UK hospitality industry” commented James Kay of TripAdvisor.
Bristol B&B Show
The Bristol B&B show was held again (for its second year) on 24-25 February, and again the B&B Association ran the conference sessions there (above). It was great to see so many members, and indeed to welcome many new members who joined up at the show. We were delighted with the comments and tweets, including:
“Can I thank you for an extremely informative day, we learned so much” MB
“We enjoyed our day yesterday and found all the sessions we attended highly professional and very useful. We were only going to come on the Wednesday, but have decided to come today as well as it was so good! You are doing a great job.” GP
“Thanks @BandBassoc - Very informative day today at #bedandbreakfastshow, back tomorrow for more seminars and conferences.” HC
