1872-1933 POSTMARK COLLECTION well written up in Afrikaans on leaves(137 stamps,3 covers) including numeral postmarks on Cape with 281 Maseru, 210 Mohaleshoek, 277 Morija, 317 Thlotse Heights on 2d pair, these are stated to be rare by Robson Lowe, c.d.s. on Cape Thlotse Heights, 1901 Mohaleshoek, 1897 cover to France with Cape 2½d(slight faults) tied Leribe c.d.s., Nancy backstamp, this is believed to have been sent from the French Evangelical Mission, probably very rare, then 1910-13 Inter Provincial period postmarks on Cape Teyateyaneng and Mohaleshoek, on Orange Free State Mohaleshoek, Mafeteng, on Transvaal Mafeteng and Morija, then follows c.d.s. postmarks on South Africa including Roma Mission, Majara, Mamathes, Morija, Butha Buthe, Thaba Basigo, Leribe, Qachasnek, Makoalis 1933 c.d.s. on 2/6d on piece, 1932 cover to London with 2d slate and lilac pair tied Mafeteng c.d.s., 1933 Registered cover to Pretoria with Basutoland ½d and stamps from South Africa, Cape, Natal, O.F.S., Transvaal, Official 6d pair tied to piece by 1933 Maseru c.d.s., Postage Due ½d,1d with Mohaleshoek pmks.
