1858-79 2d blue, plate 7, HG, with listed MAJOR RE-ENTRY ‘OST’ AT BASE OF Queen’s neck, centred to SW, on 1859 Entire from Edinburgh to Kilmarnock, torn on flap where seal removed, gum leakage at top has stained but perfs appear clear from toning, horizontal fold, well written- up with enlarged photos, fine and extremely scarce. This is the fascinating retouch variety where ‘OST’ appears at the base of the Queen’s neck. This retouch illustrated in SG specialised Vol 1 16th Edition page 172 but unpriced.
