1897-1980 Old time collection of South African origin in a large loose leaf album. The collection commences with German Colony issues including 1900-06 no wmk set to 3Mk used, also values to 1Mk,3Mk mint, a selection of postmarks including Karabib, Jakalswater, Tsumeb. British Occupation issues commence with 1923 Setting I overprint set to 1/3d in horiz pairs fine mint, then 1926 ½d to 6d sets mint, 1935 Silver Jubilee set, good Postage Dues and Officials. Then follows extensive coverage of mint sets 1937-1980 looking to be nearly complete. Also included are many more modern issues in Plate blocks including 1961-63 defin set to 1R in Plate blocks of four, 1974 Birds set in Plate blocks of four, 1975 Birds set in Plate blocks of six, most of the blocks are mounted on top stamps only.
