QF Focus Magazine The Town Meets Country Event... A ROARING SUCCESS !!
Saturday 14th November was a fun filled day packed full of humans and animals as Grupo Rubio and Skoda staged the Town Meets Country Event.
The event organised by Gina Marks of GM Promotions, created a fusion of ex-pat, international and Spanish businesses and visitors, who all came together in Torrevieja in aid of supporting four worthy causes, The Albergue Municipal (dog pound), The Alimentos Solidarios (food bank), A.L.P.E children’s society and the Norwegian Church. There were 10 dog adoptions achieved on the day, and the best news of all is that the four charities will gain from the money raised on the day. The total of 4,600.95 Euros will be divided between them.
Gina Marks said that it was an absolute privilege to work with Grupo Rubio, Conchita Rubio Miralles and the team, their professionalism and attention to detail helped bring together an amazing event to support the community, achieve some amazing results and delight the 1768 visitors on the day. Congratulations to everyone that took part in the event. Jennifer Hirst won the TV donated by Female Focus Publications at the Town Meets Country Event by guessing the closest number of balloons in the car. She is pictured alongside (right) along with her daughter and Michelle from QF Focus magazine, the main media sponsor of the event.
GM Promotions are now gearing up for their next event which will be the Homes Gardens and Lifestyle Show. This will be their 8th edition, and will bring YOU an even BIGGER Show for 2016. on Celebrity Masterchef 2015, so they are teaming Syd with our own local celeb chef from Masterchef 2014 Dani Bowler from the Vintage Café in ‘A Battle of the Master-chefs!’ Marvelous Mark Stacey from UK TV’s Flog it and Bargain Hunt is back to add pizzazz to the proceedings, value antiques, conduct the Antiques Quiz and compare some cooking capers in the popular Costa Cook Off!
