Aſt er winning my award, we have had
really positive reinforcement from our customers. It has been a talking point
for many customers that our pharmacy. We have our award proudly on display so that all the customers can see. T e hype of the award and my self being succesful and winning my category has
defi ntely enhanced team spirit within the pharmacy. During the entry process we did review many of our services that we provide in order to ensure that we are providing the safest and most reliable service possible. Local press coverage helped, as many customers read in the local paper about the pharmacy
awards and recognised my own name and our pharmacy name and phoned
to off er their congratulations. Overall, participating in the awards has been a
benefi cial experience for both staff and customers at Hughes Chemist. Barry Houston,
