Pamela Dawson Tasker BEM of AECC the Spanish national cancer charity, and Paula Chinchilla of Lifestyle Care Group have joined forces to promote a special and unique event. Not only a unique day but designed to be a fun day for participants and visitors. From 10am to 3pm on Sunday 20th September in the area adjoining El Cisne Antique and Rastro Centre, Benidorm, we will be presenting an opportunity for many of our local charities and support associations to meet the public together. The Fair will present, all at the same venue, charitable and help groups that you may already support and others that you would like to know more about. We never know when or how we will need help in the future or even today and to whom we can turn, so this fair will be where you can get to know the individuals behind the associations, collect the brochures and get information at first hand. Each stall will also be offering a huge variety of items for sale to raise funds for their work or information about how they can help those who need it.

Fifth International Charities Fair - A day to show solidarity

Next door the usual Sunday El Cisne Rastro will be taking place and all the facilities of El Cisne will be available making this a complete day out to enjoy and to meet your friends. We

look forward to seeing you there and, like the other

representatives, we will be available to talk. Stalls can be booked by established associations up to September 10th by contacting: Pamela Dawson Tasker on pdawson802t@cv.gva.es or Paula on paula.lifecoach@gmail.com.

Charities, associations, groups and supporters during the past 4 years are listed below and many of these will take part again this year along with new participants.

Volunteers All these groups are run by volunteers, they do all they can to help those in need, they rely on donations and work hard through social events to raise money to help them do their job. In all areas of our lives there are times we need assistance and times when we can give a helping hand to others by volunteering or donating. If you have ever considered being a volunteer whether to help adults in need, children or animals, this is your chance to talk with those who do the job and discuss what you can do.

Not just networking

However this is not just a fund-raising and an awareness-raising exercise - we all want you, the public, to enjoy yourselves with background music, refreshment and a special visit by Vince Tracy who will introduce representatives of the charities taking part.
