Bearsted & Thurnham Carnival & Fayre 2015

Last year, more than £5,000 was distributed by the fayre’s executive committee to local charities and organisations.

The main benefactor this year will be Bearsted Scouts.

Anyone who would like to enter a float or walking group

into the carnival procession or who can help by donating prizes to the grand draw or by volunteering on the day, can contact the fayre committee via www.facebook.com/Bearsted AndThurnhamCarnivalFayre, email: bearstedfayre@yahoo.co.uk or via twitter, #bearstedfayre.

Temporary road closures - Please note that some roads in the area will be closed for a short while during the procession which is due to leave Madginford at 12.15pm, cross the A20 Ashford Road and make its way to Bearsted Green, arriving at 1.15pm. Please keep the procession route around The Green clear during the afternoon. Car parking will be available in the Elizabeth Harvey Field off Church Lane.
