The Salomon Trail Running Festival at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, Maine, is a two-day extravaganza of trail races, beer drinking, barbeque, potluck salads and desserts, old timey music, and fun family events. Maine Women’s Ride. Every woman. Any bike. One ride. The Bicycle Coalition of Maine’s Women’s Ride is a celebration of women and bicycling (offering ten, 25, 50 or 62- mile options). The event offers a friendly, supportive atmosphere geared toward girls and women of all ages and abilities. The routes (10, 25, 50 or 62 mile options) follow quiet roads, offering beautiful views of the Maine coast and countryside. All rides begin and end at L.L. Twilight 5K. Hundreds of women and men will join together to help fight cancer and run one of the most beautiful sunset race courses in Maine at the Twilight 5K. Hosted on the breathtaking Southern Maine Community College campus in South Portland, this in- spirational event is open to individuals and teams. Each runner commits to a fundraising minimum of $120 to fight cancer, although many individuals raise much more.
